With today’s circumstances and any day’s circumstances really, we are given an opportunity to “rise above” the mass experience, to be ”in the world, but not of it”. This is one of the greatest teachings of the Spiritual Masters. Yet we continue to create excuses as to why we can’t and how it’s just not possible.
They are just excuses and it’s imperative that we do our part to rise above the negativity and be a beacon of light in the illusion of darkness.
How do we do that?
It’s not necassarily about doing anything for anybody else but yourself. In order to be beacon of light for the masses we must first become a beacon of light for ourself. Love and Joy are our natural states. We can allow ourselves to be in that state. When we are not feeling love we can use EFT to release what ever it is we are feeling. When we are faced with someone treating us in a way that we would rather not be treated we can remember that they are only an aspect of us. They are a mirror of how we treat ourselves. They are a gift for they show us what is hidden within us. Bottom line is that we are all Divine.
Bless your Self, bless them and choose joy. Choosing joy when everybody else around us is choosing fear is the first step of being in the world but not of it and of being a beacon of light. We do make a difference.
In “The Divine Matrix” Gregg Braden explains that the minimum number of people required to begin a shift in consciousness is the square root of 1% of the population. Imagine how you alone can affect the state of peace in your home or in your workplace just by being peaceful and choosing to know your Self and others as the Divine Presence. Yes, everything and everyone seems to be available to convince us that the Divine is “out there” somewhere. But be diligent and hold fast to your truth, the Divine is within us and no matter what’s happening “out there” peace is who we are.
You are a beacon.
Blessings,
Michelle
Why is Joy and Peace so difficult to choose? Tune in next time to find out!

After months of knowing about it and my wife using it, I have finally begun to use EFT to process some of the poison that enters my system. I tried it before but couldn’t quite feel it working, but now I do! It’s pretty amazing.

Hi Michelle–I think you were also on Tom’s call today? It’s wonderful to connect with others this way.
When you write “In order to be beacon of light for the masses we must first become a beacon of light for our self” I am reminded of Marianne Williamson’s quote which in part says:
“And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Such a beautiful idea, really. And yet I feel many never look at it this way. Thank you for reminding others of this with your post.
Thanks Christine and Ari for stopping by. It was a pleasure to be on Tom’s call with both of you today.
Yes, EFT is so powerful, Ari. I’m glad to hear that you’re using it. It’s an incredible tool for life Mastery as it enables us to release emotions that we have become victim to. No more do we need months or even years to heal our emotional pain.
I agree with Marianne Williamson. It’s an assumption, as Tom was speaking of, that when we shine our light we some how take away from others. When quite the opposite is true.
Thanks again!
Hi Michelle,
Maybe we don’t need to rise above but to step aside and watch.
Hi Michelle,
There is also something to be said for just “Being With”.
The rich experience of being fully present, no matter what, is an amazing journey. Sometimes I feel brave enough to actually to that!
And it’s also easy to understand when someone wishes not to be present to what feels challenging.
Nancy
Thank you Nancy and Evan.
I agree with the “being with” Nancy, and when we remember in the drama that this is all an illusion, that we are all God, here for this particular experience “being with” becomes an act of Love rather that an act of courage.
That’s what I mean by rising above–being the observer in a space of Love rather than caught up in the fear.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to write.
Many Blessings!
I love it, Michelle. As someone who has experienced the need to “participate without buying in” in my job/career, I recognize that I need to participate in the traditional societal norms of jobs/career to pay the bills and meet financial obligations, but I also can choose to not buy in to the misguided societal beliefs of a job being the only way to live long-term. The fascinating and authentic way of thinking transcends into all other areas of my life. No one knows what’s best for me other than me/…certainly not the masses!
